About Basalt Solutions
Basalt Solutions is led by Tim Sterne, a former New Zealand Police detective sergeant with more than a decade of experience across criminal and civil investigations. He’s a former teacher in Christian education. He is also an active member of his local church – he understands how a Christian community functions and what’s at stake when things go wrong.
Tim brings a rare combination of investigation experience with a distinctively Christian perspective. He understands how to balance pastoral sensitivity with investigative rigour.
